The Perfect Library – Week 3
The satan didn’t tempt Adam and Eve to murder, steal, or tell a lie. He tempted them to question the Word of God. His tactics haven’t changed.
So, it is incredibly important that we can trust the Bible. We can’t talk to the eyewitnesses of the events in the Bible, so we believe almost everything we believe because of the Bible. So can we trust the Bible? I say yes. Absolutely yes and I’d like to give you some reasons.
Why should we trust the Bible?
- God wrote it. (2 Timothy 3:16)
- It Works.
- Scientific Evidence
- The authors can be trusted.
- The entire Bible points to one of the most verifiable events in ancient history, the resurrection of Jesus.
So, can we believe the Bible? Absolutely, and if we do what should we do with the Bible? Let it breathe life into you. Surrender to it. Obey it even if you don’t understand why it tells you to do what it tells you to do. Trust it. Study it. Fall in love with it.
Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives.Colossians 3:16
