In week 1 of Messianic Math, Pastor Mike Wilson talks about how getting out of debt isn’t about wealth it’s about being useful to God. He put us in this world to accomplish a goal. He created us for a mission, and debt makes us less useful to God in fulfilling that mission.

Matthew 6:24

²⁴“No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.
