We Were Made for Circles.

In this week of Becoming – Living the Way of Jesus with the People of God, Pastor CJ Ward led a powerful panel discussion about Circles—our Life Groups—and the importance of doing life together. Featuring stories and insights from several New Life attenders, the conversation highlighted how relationships form the foundation of our spiritual growth and transformation.

We’re all becoming something—and according to Scripture, we become most like Jesus when we walk alongside His people.

Genesis 2:18 – “It is not good for man to be alone.” God designed us for relationship.

Big Truths from This Message

God is moving—don’t miss it.
In a world full of chaos, God is still working. We must keep our eyes on what He’s doing and join Him.
We were never meant to follow Jesus alone.
From Genesis to the early church, God made it clear—life with Him means life with His people.
Community has layers.
We need the church as our tribe, a circle for close friendships, and a few accountability partners who know everything about us and love us anyway.
Life will pull you away from community.
The enemy isolates us by convincing us we’re too busy, too broken, or too different. We must fight to stay connected.
Authenticity leads to freedom.
True freedom isn’t hiding your struggles—it’s being fully known and fully loved. Confession breaks isolation.
Becoming happens in community.
Whether through mentoring, accountability, or weekly rhythms in your circle, growth happens best when we grow together.
