We need to recognize that our identity is not found in the political party we’re a part of or the category of voter that pollsters put us in. We are followers of Christ. That’s who we are. It’s not something we do, it’s not a voting block, or a social club.
Most people don’t think about Heaven until someone they love dies. When that happens, we wonder what Heaven will be like, who will be there, where it is, and whether or not our dogs will be there. How much time do you spend investing in the next life? How much of your treasure is here, and how much is there?
