Ladies Retreat at Cedar Canyon Camp

God is our refuge and strength,

In other words, “Bring it!”

Life on earth can be messy and hard. We may feel like the ground beneath us is crumbling and like we’re being assaulted by waves crashing over us from every direction.

No matter what may come, we will have our feet firmly planted on the Rock and we will not be shaken!

We will be women who are UNSHAKABLE.

*$50 of your registration price is considered a non-refundable deposit. If you choose/need to cancel prior to September 15 the $50 will be applied toward a scholarship for someone else, and we will refund the rest of what you paid for registration. Registrations cancelled after September 15 are entirely non-refundable unless we are able to fill your spot.


Who may attend? Any woman 18+. (High schoolers aged 16-17 may attend with their mom or grandma.) We highly encourage you to come with your Life Group, or a small group of other friends. However, if you don’t have friends willing to attend, please come any way! You’ll meet new people – and we bet you’ll like them!!

May I bring my infant? Breastfed infants who are not walking or talking may attend with their mamas. Trust us, there will be plenty of arms willing to give mama’s arms a break. You will want to bring a pack-n-play along for bed time.

What should I expect? A great weekend away!  This is an awesome time to meet and connect with other ladies from New Life. Expect to learn and grow in your faith during times of teaching and small group discussion, to have time for relaxation and conversation, to eat meals you don’t have to cook and to participate in some great times of worship.  We will laugh (a lot), we might cry (but in a positive, healing way), and we will return home refreshed (although a tad tired if you like to stay up late at night chatting with your roommates)!

What about transportation? We will find the ladies who want to drive, and match them with the ladies who want to ride.  Easy peasy! Departure times – 10am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm (you’ll sign up for a departure time when you register)

When can I show up on Friday? We have created two check-in times for your convenience! 3-4pm For those who want a more leisurely afternoon.  You’ll be on your own to run into Rapid for dinner. 6-7:15pm For those who can’t leave quite so early.

When do the activities begin? The retreat officially begins at 7:30pm on Friday and concludes at 1pm on Sunday.

Who will I room with? You can find friends to room with (put their names on your registration form) or we can pair you  with roommates(tell us to find you friends on your registration form).  Most rooms are quad (4) occupancy.  If you sign up with two other friends (triple occupancy)and all the rooms fill up, we may need to add a fourth lady to your room.  We have a limited number of double occupancy rooms (for $25 more per person). *Preference for double occupancy rooms will be given to those with health or age-related concerns.

What about my kids? We’ve never had a kid die while mom was away on a ladies’ retreat. Remarkably, dads and grandmas (and aunts and friends) all rise to the occasion and the kids tend to have a blast. It is good for you and good for your kids to have a weekend apart. (Trust us, we know this is hard for some moms. But we believe you’ll thank us for nudging you to go.)
