What Will my kids be learning?

Truth or Trash? With the help of your kids’ favorite movies and characters, we’ll tackle important life questions and learn what is truth or trash in God’s eyes.

Week 1: Who Do I Listen To?

Who and what you listen to is important. It’s easy to listen to the things in the world and let the world’s voice speak louder than God’s voice. However, if we are followers of Jesus, we should listen to His voice.
John 10:27 “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”

Week 2: Who Loves Me?

God loves us unconditionally, and sent his son Jesus to die even though we sin against him. We can love others like Him because Jesus first loved us.
1 John 4:19 “We love each otherbecause he loved us first.”

Week 3: Who Will Never Fail Me?

God is enough! If we depend on money, stuff, or how we look, we will always be disappointed. God will never fail us and never leave us.
Hebrews 13:5 “Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”

Week 4: Who Am I?

We are God’s masterpiece! He is our creator! When we decide to follow Jesus, we are a child of God, and he created us to do great things so others can see Jesus through us.
Ephesians 2:10 ^“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

What's At the movies
all about?

Kids love movies! But there’s so much more we can learn from them—and that’s what New Life Kids At the Movies is all about. We’ll watch scenes from favorite kids movies during church, and Pastor Darci Wilson will use them to teach us more about God, ourselves, and the life that’s possible for us with Jesus. Plus we’ll have candy, popcorn, drinks, and fun activities for the kids each week to learn more about Jesus!

New Life Kids

New Life Kids has a special, age-appropriate At the Movies experience just for kids! Kindergarten-6th graders sing songs, play games, and learn truths from the Bible through their favorite movies.

Movies speak to our circumstances and connect us to one another. But there’s so much more we can learn from them—and that’s what At the Movies is all about. We'll watch scenes from powerful movies during church, and Pastor Mike Wilson will use them to teach us more about God, ourselves, and the life that's possible for us. Plus we will be serving up the best snacks, and creating photo ops and other fun for your family!
